Space Needle
Got to Space Needle very early today to avoid big crowds, but it was so foggy and we went to do other attractions in the area before returning at 1pm. The weather was perfect then and the sky was clear.
Chihuly Garden & Glass
It’s our 2nd day in Seattle and we visited artist Chihuly exhibition. Most amazing garden and glass art work.
Relax in the Swimming Pool
It was a busy day for us, as we did a lot of sightseeing and walked everywhere. Back to our hotel, we went to the hotel’s pool and jacuzzi to rewind and relax. Will go to sleep early, as we plan to visit a few more attractions near the Space Needle area tomorrow.
Elliott Oyster House
Getting off the harbor cruise, we went to eat in the popular seafood restaurant.
Seattle Harbor Cruise
We hopped on the harbor cruise, another waterfront attraction. We enjoyed city skyline views and prominent landmarks like the space needle and Mt. Rainier.
First Starbucks of 1912

Seattle Aquarium
We bought Seattle pass which gives us access to 5 Seattle attractions. The 1st attraction we visited is the aquarium.
Seattle Great Wheel
It looks like a lot of fun to ride the Seattle great wheel along the waterfront.
Seattle Public Market
It’s a beautiful day in Seattle and we decided to spend our first day along Seattle’s waterfront. The first place we went to is the popular public market center.
Hyatt at Olive 8
We got to our hotel really early, 10:30am, and were very lucky to get a room without having to wait till 4pm to check in. A very nice modern hotel in downtown Seattle, with indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and lots of shops around…
Arrived in Seattle
After 5 hours of flight, Al and I arrived in Seattle. After some coffee and muffin, we are taking the light rail to downtown Seattle where our hotel is
My Backyard Garden
Took advantage of the Memorial Day weekend to work on our backyard garden. Removed the grass from the area on the right and planted a maple tree and some flowers and bushes. Glad it came out the way we had wanted.
